River Rd. crossing

May 30 1956. This was an odd road job. "First they went to River Road with one box car on the "east" end of the Alco, four carloads of cinders and C2222 on the Georgetown end. They shoved the box car into the Hot Shoppes siding." The building off to the right is the Hot Shoppes building, and the boxcar is barely visible next to the building. Note that River Rd. is 2 lanes and unprotected which required a "stop-and-flag" rule.
