Overall height 36-39". Coming from the helix, trains emerge from the helix, pass across a large drop-down bridge and emerge from Dalecarlia tunnel. The Army map siding is to the left. Trains continue across the Capital Traction Co. Glen Echo line and enter the Dalecarlia Reservoir water treatment plant switching. Trains continue down the piedmont, cross over the C&O Canal/Canal Rd. and on to Georgetown. Passing over some overflow streams for the canal, the line comes to a track scale and then passes under the historic aqueduct bridge. In-street trackage follows Water St. along the waterfront in Georgetown passing many yards, sidings and industries.
