Chevy Chase swimming pool & CCL&KRy station, ca. 1940

Looking a bit worn, the station has been out of service for 5 years when this photo was taken. The swimming pool doesn't look that neat either. Note the interesting sign on the pool of a person diving. The old streetcar tracks have not yet been removed and are still embedded in the street. View is Westward.

    The building on the right was the scene of the infamous "Car Barn Murders" that happened on Jan 21, 1935.
