The doorway had been previously framed with 1x2's and a mish mash of 1x4's and spray foam insulation! The folks who did the previous renovations on this house did some shoddy work here and there and as you pull back the layers it's all revealed. Melvin reframed the doorway properly and it's now rock solid.
