Sign read "McNey Motors." McNey Motors was a Packard / Studebaker dealer and then a Mercedes-Benz dealer. They leased property at 4800 Elm Street (intersection with Wisconsin Ave. pictured) on the site of a former coal yard. We would rush to move cars on the right of way before the occasional coal train to Georgetown passed by the rear of the dealership property.
